Well, I gave up on NanoWrimo… got farther than last year. Haven’t been writing much of anything at the moment.
Don’t know if you guys saw this. Luckily not a plane I was on, but I did end up spending ELEVEN extra hours in an airport because of it.
Ended up with a massive sinus infection.
Have to get two cavities filled tomorrow morning.
Been angry and depressed about everything in the US government at the moment.
Got way, way to into this whole Sar(a)h D/ess#en (cause I know she Google alerts her name) Twitter nonsense (kind of hit all kinds of my own insecurities from having my own work criticized and turning into an asshole about it to fears about blogging the wrong thing and facing a dog-pile for it).
My house is a gorram mess and I have no clean underwear.
I am a sad, lumpy sack of potatoes.
Taking a break from the Internet. Will be back next week. Sorry for the Eeyoring. TTFN.
Recoup and reconvene. It’s all you can do. Take your time.π

We all need a break from social media, the internet, all the modern technology that drives us all crazy at times. And yes, the dysfunctional government crap too.

Indeed. I’m taking some time to read a good book. π

Nothing wrong with that! π

My Nanowrimo graph is a depressing slump in comparison to the targets, but that will not deter me from completing the first draft, even if it takes me until December (or further haha…)
See you later, and I hope you have a nice day.

We all have days where nothing seems to go right and everything seems a mess. I hope you’re feeling better soon.

I didn’t even attempt Nanowrimo this year because I knew I wouldn’t have time.
I’m sorry so many things are piling up at once for you. Just the cavities and sinus infection would have been a lot, so I’d say you’ve earned your break. I hope better times come around soon.

Good news is, the sinus started to drain.
Bad news is, the mucus going down my throat made me hork during the filling.
Great news is, I skipped breakfast before hand and didn’t vomit on the dentist.
It’s important to practice gratitude when you can, and I’m thankful for that. I’m sure the dentist is too.

Well, I’ll keep working at it and not worry so much about big dead lines. Will set smaller goals first!
As far as the Twitter nonsense, best left to Twitter and be glad you’ve heard none of it.
